Big Fish

Costume Designer  •  Arts Express  •  Summer 2018

Big Fish was challenging because of the number of distinct scenes, taking place in vastly different periods and fantastical themes. For this reason, most of the ensemble had between 6-8 costume looks, and incredibly quick changes. I created a color based narrative, showing the world as Edward Bloom saw it, instead of realistically. This show was put up in about a month by a fairly small team, so I also draped and built several costumes, such as the Witch, and the Alabama Lambs.
